Rubedo is a dual formulas system that consists of both syrup and capsules.

Take 5 to 10 ml in the morning followed by a glass of water. The syrup is fast acting and is quickly absorbed.
Rubedo Capsules
Take two capsules at lunch time with a glass of water. The capsules are slower release and carry you through the rest of the day.

How Rubedo Works
The main active ingredient in Rubedo is a substance called L-Phenylalanine which naturally and slowly increases the release of the hormones norepinephrine and epinephrine. These hormones are responsible for controlling hunger and increasing the fat burning of the body.
The famous Phentermine based slimming tablets such as Phentermine 37.5, Duromine and other tablets like Thinz Original and Reductil also work via increasing release of these hormones. The main difference is that the above tablets release these hormones too rapidly so that they cause a sudden rise in blood pressure and increase the risk of heart attacks and strokes.

Since then I have had a number of my family members try Rubedo and each of them showed visible weight loss results within the first 2 weeks. After discovering Rubedo which is a product manufactured in South Africa, I decided I had to give this product a test.
To tell you the truth I was pretty sceptical about the product intially. However I decided to jump into the deep end anyway.
The liquid solution for use in the morning smelt and tasted very similar to those multivitamin syrups you get but I guess that is due to the high Vitamin B content in Rubedo. If you can't handle the taste of multivitamins then don't buy Rubedo.
I could really feel a difference in my energy levels and this probably peaked on around the 3rd day of using Rubedo.

When it came to the scale I was impressed, despite my initial reservations I had dropped just on 4.5 kg's in the first week and a half. I do have to admit that I had picked up quite a bit of weight before I started using Rubedo but after all that is why we normally resort to a slimming product.
